Heavenly Clouds

Add to Cart Add to Lightbox
I captured this image in Roselawn, Indiana on March 24th, 2017. My favorite element about this image is how the sun started to emerge from behind the large, dark stratocumulus cloud (fluffy) and shines through the very subtle cirrus cloud (wispy). I used a circular polarizer lens filter to reduce glare from the sun in the upper atmosphere and to show the texture of stratocumulus cloud. I also like the way the edges of the stratocumulus cloud are backlit by the sunlight.

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth paper. Limited to 150 productions per size.

Available in 18" x 12", 24" x 16", 36" x 24", and 45" x 30" sizes.

Prices are:

18" x 12" - $700

24" x 16" - $900

36" x 24" - $1,400

45" x 30" - $1,900
