An Ominous Sunset
I captured this nature portrait in my backyard on March 8th, 2017. On this day, I had a new lens that I was testing it. I originally captured this scene in color, but decided to convert it to black and white due to a lack of colors in the sky. I chose this split-toning color because it gave the scene an eerie appearance. I wanted to capture the outlines of the trees because creates great contrast with the sky and the sun, as well as adding random patterns and lines. I also like how the sun was subtly shining through the tree line since its a source of light surrounded by a dark subject.
