Lakeside In Autumn

I captured this landscape, as well as "Colors Of Autumn", in Demotte, Indiana on October 31st, 2018. What caught my eye the most about this scene was the vibrant colors of the autumn foliage. I was also drawn to the way the sky had an altostratus cloud formation up close, mixed with some exposed blue sky and cirrus clouds in the background. Another detail that I like was the way the light wind caused subtle ripples in the man-made pond. I also wanted to capture the shadows in the foliage since they contrast with the light colors that are more prevalent in this image.

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth paper. Limited to 150 productions per size.
