A Fresh Snowfall
I captured this landscape image in Demotte, Indiana on February 17th, 2018. When I captured this landscape, there was about 2 feet of snow that fell from the night before to this evening. What really caught my eye was how much snow, and even some ice, stuck to almost all of the branches and leaves in the scene. What amazed me the most about this scene was how the snow on the branches and leaves made the forest look like it was made of ice. Another detail that I like is how the parts of the trees that remained uncovered by snow provided a contrasting element that adds random patterns to the image.
