Bathing In A Blue Wonder
I captured this image of a Northern Mockingbird in my driveway on June 25th, 2017. I found this Northern Mockingbird bathing in a puddle that formed in my driveway the day before because of a thunderstorm. This day was clear and sunny, which is why there are reflections of the blue sky in ripples of the puddle. My main goal was to capture the details of bird's wet feathers and the ripples it created in the puddle. I also like how the vividly blue sky above is reflecting in the ripples.
