Snowy Autumn Foliage

I captured this nature portrait, as well as, "A Snowy Sketch", "Snow-Capped", and "Snowy Treetops", in my backyard on November 11th, 2019. I captured this image earlier in the evening. What caught my eye the most about this scene was the way the brightness of the snow contrasted with brown color of the leaves, forming different patterns throughout the entire image. Since it was brighter out, I wanted to capture as much of the snow as I could since there was light still shining on it. Since it was very cold this day, I adjusted the white balance to slightly blue to reflect this.

Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper.
