Sea Of Green
I captured this landscape image in Rensselaer, Indiana on July 11th, 2019. What caught my eye the most about this scene was how the crops spanning all the way into the background gave it an ocean-like appearance, with the tree formations looking like islands. Further adding to the ocean-like appearance was how the clouds were lined up, small, altocumulus cloud formations up close and large, numerous cumulus clouds spanning across the background. I used a circular polarizer lens filter to reduce the glare from the sun in the atmosphere to darken the blue sky and make it more vivid. I also wanted to include the tree formations because they were producing great shadows that contrast with the lighter colors throughout the entire image. When I created this image, I made it to give a peaceful, relaxing feeling.
