Snowy Treetops

I captured this nature portrait, along with "A Snowy Sketch", Snow-Capped", and "Snowy Autumn Foliage", in my backyard on November 11th, 2019. I captured this image earlier in the evening. I was experimenting with different shooting techniques and chose black and white for this scene because I like how the "black" of the trees and leaves contrast very distinctly with the white of the snow throughout the entire image. I also wanted to capture the varying level of details in the near and far foliage to add depth to the image as well.

Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper. Limited to 200 productions per size.

Available in 20" x 16", 30" x 24", and 40" x 30" sizes.
