I captured this nature portrait on November 4th, 2020. What caught my eye about this scene was how some of the leaves in the background are casting shadows behind the leaves i the foreground that are highlighted by the setting sun. I also like how the sunlight emphasizes the texture and fine details of the leaves. I was drawn to the different shades of orange in the leaves due to the varying amounts of sunlight that was shining on them because it adds a sense of depth to the image as the brighter leaves in the background are catching the most sunlight compared to the darker leaves in the foreground getting the least amount of sunlight.

Printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper. Limited to 400 productions per size.
