I captured this landscape image in Demotte, Indiana on April 25th, 2017. I came across these various trees and shrubs along road while driving through this rural area of town. At first, the vibrant pink color of the shrub is what got my attention, but as I looked over the entire scene, I really liked the way the vibrant pink and green colors blended with the blue sky in the background and decided to expand the angle of view for the overall shot. I also wanted to capture the shadows within the trees as well as the shadows cast by them because they add great contrast to the bright colors throughout the entire image and add depth.

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth paper. Limited to 150 productions per size.
