Shining Light

I captured this landscape over a harvested farm field in Demotte, Indiana on March 7th, 2018. While I was driving through Demotte, Indiana, I saw these stratocumulus cloud formations with sunlight shining through them in the background and decided to pull over to photograph it. I was most drawn to the way the sunlight was shining through the gaps of the cloud formations and reflecting off of the water vapor and rainfall in the distance. The way the mix of dark grays with light grays and whites gives the clouds a three-dimensional appearance stood out to me as well.

Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper. Limited to 150 productions per size.

Available in 18" x 12", 24" x 16", 36" x 24", and 45" x 30" sizes.
